Inclement Weather Alerts and Planned/Unplanned Order Schedule

Inclement Weather Information
Were coming upon our first official weekend of snow so we wanted to remind everyone of where you will be able to find information on possible delays or cancellations of planned and unplanned order drops due to the inclement weather. We will be posting all information on cancellations or delays on our web site's Cookie Alerts page:

Planned and Unplanned Order Schedules
To allay confusion with the times and dates of planned and unplanned orders, we have provided the schedule for both unplanned and planned orders: http://www.gsep.org/media/files/Re-Orders%202012.pdf

When you place a planned order in snap, you will be given the option to select the date and location that you'd like to pick up your cookies.  You will have to follow the schedule linked above to determine the time that your specific location is open. If a Reorder Station has less than 150 cases on any given day, the Reorder Station will be closed and people who have scheduled pickups for that day will be notified.

Also, please remember to bring your T8 form when you pick up cookies for both planned and unplanned orders.

Unplanned Orders are only being filled at these locations:

  • Valley Forge Service Center on Tuesdays from 4pm-7pm
  • Lehigh Valley Service Center on Thursday from 5pm-7pm and Saturday from 9am-11am
  • Fischer Hughes Lansdale Warehouse on Saturday 8am-11am and Thursday 11am-5pm
  • Read's Warehouse on Wednesday 10am-6pm and Saturday 8am-11am
  • Shelly Ridge Service Center on Friday 3pm-6pm
These will be the ONLY locations you can come to without placing an order in snap.  You will still need to bring a T-8 form with you. It is not guaranteed that all cookies will be in stock.

Placing a Planned Order in Snap

In order to properly manage our inventory, we're asking troops to place planned orders in snap.  By placing a planned order, we'll know where and when you want to pick up select varieties of Girl Scout Cookies, thus guaranteeing your order.  Planned orders can be placed by noon the day before you would like to pick up your cookies. If you did not place an initial order, you will need to place a planned order to be able to recieve cookies. Please see the video below to learn how to place a planned order in snap.  Remember--you will still need to bring a completed T-8 form with you when you pick up your order.

If you are unable to place a planned order, a few locations will still be offering unplanned orders. For unplanned orders, we cannot guarantee your order and you will be limited to 50 cases. You will still need to bring a T-8 form to the following Council Sponsored Reorder Stations to pick up an unplanned order, provided that they are open on the day you would like to come:
  • Lehigh Valley Service Center
  • Shelly Ridge Service Center
  • Valley Forge Service Center
  • Read's Warehouse
  • Fischer Hughes Lansdale Warehouse.

Mega Drops!

If your troop has placed an initial order, it's already January and pickups have started! Here are a few pointers to remember when picking up your initial order:
  • Count your cookies!  Remember, you're financially responsible for what you sign for, so make sure you take home the correct amount of cookies.
  • Load your own vehicle and help others. This year our delivery agents will not be loading vehicles, due to liability issues. If lines are moving slowly, please feel free to help out others to make the process faster.
  • Bring your T-7 Initial Order Form. Although this form will not be collected, you should take this with you so that your order can be verified if need be.
  • Bring enough vehicles to accommodate your order.
  • Arrive on time.
  • If you don't remember your pickup time/lane, you can login to www.abcsnap.com, click on REPORTS, then select the "Delivery Station Appointment Summary Report."
  •  If you're unsure where to go, please see the map below:
